Here at the Greater Victoria Compost Education Centre (GVCEC) our innovative Black Gold Rush program teaches children about the link between composting and climate change. Your $100 will support our efforts to teach children about the importance of composting to help fight climate change.

YWCA Vancouver’s Rooftop Food Garden provides healthy, nutritious food to women at YWCA Crabtree Corner, a family resource centre on the Downtown Eastside. It grows high-quality, organic fruits and vegetables, which are then harvested and taken to Crabtree Corner, where they are used in the Community Kitchen. The Rooftop Food Garden provides much-needed nutrition to supplement the diets of women and children on the Downtown Eastside.
